Six legends to be inducted into World Rugby Hall of Fame

World Rugby has announced that six legends of the game in Richie McCaw (New Zealand), Shiggy Konno (Japan), Os du Randt (South Africa), Peter Fatialofa (Samoa), Graham Henry (New Zealand) and Diego Ormaechea (Uruguay) will be inducted into the World Rugby Hall of Fame in 2019.

Highlanders add three more to 2019 Super Rugby squad

Otago players Michael Collins and Sione Misiloi will both join the Highlanders next season while All Black Sevens star Vilimoni Koroi has signed on from 2021 through to 2023. His focus for next year will be the Tokyo Olympics with the national sevens team.

Luke Jacobson has been ruled out the #RWC2019 with a concussion, Shannon Frizell has been added to the squad.

The All Blacks have suffered an injury blow a week out from the start of the Rugby World Cup, with rookie flanker Luke Jacobson forced out of the tournament with a concussion.

  

Jacobson, 22, was diagnosed with a concussion and will return to New Zealand for treatment, with his place in the squad taken by loose forward Shannon Frizell.
