Franco Mostert signs for Lyon
Lyon have signed lock Franco Mostert as part of their 12 new recruits for the upcoming season which starts later this year.
Mostert, who has been a devotee of the Lions and highly regarded as a potential future Springbok, was unveiled on the Lyon website as a recruit.
While it is still unclear whether he will be released after Super Rugby or only join the team in November when his contract ends, Mostert is seen as a vital part of Lyon's hope of moving back into the French top 14 again.
He has been signed to partner with New Zealander Josh Bekhius while Samoan Maselino Paulino is the third lock on their signing roster this season.
