France Team Named To Face Wales

Fabien Galthie has named his side to face Wales at the Stade de France on Saturday.

Wales are vying for a Grand Slam and France head into the game knowing that they can still claim the Six Nations title despite their Grand Slam hopes being dashed against England last weekend.

Galthie has named an unchanged starting XV with Cyril Baille, Julien Marchand and Mohamed Haouas making up the front row. Bernard Le Roux is still unavailable due to injury so Romain Taofifenua has the opportunity to back up his impressive performance against England.

Dylan Cretin and Gregory Alldritt retain their starting positions with captain Charles Ollivon while Antoine Dupont and Mathieu Jalibert continue in the halfback. Gael Fickou and Virmi Vakatawa start in the centres while the back three is maintained with Damian Penaud in the #11 jersey, Teddy Thomas in the #14 and Brice Dulin at fullback.

Galthie has however shaken up his bench with Arthur Vincent replacing Cameron Woki as the side return to a 5-3 split in favour of the forwards. Romain Ntamack and Baptiste Serin remain on the bench having not taken the field against England while Camile Chat and Jean-Baptiste Gros are joined by the returning Uini Atonio as front row cover. The final change to the team sees Swan Rebbadj replace Cyril Cazeaux as lock cover with Anthony Jelonch retaining his place.
