Fotuali’i full of praise for Eagles' lock Manoa
Influential Samoa back Kahn Fotuali’i has given high praise to the USA forward Samu Manoa ahead of the two sides’ match in the Rugby World Cup on Sunday.
The two players worked together at Northampton Saints and Fotuali’i knows more than most what power and destruction Manoa can cause to an opposition’s defence.
Samoa and the USA face off in Brighton this weekend in Pool B, which also includes South Africa, Scotland and Japan.
"Samu is a fantastic all-round player and an amazing athlete," said Fotuali'i.
"He is one of the best forwards I've seen and I'd pick him in a World XV.
"He is not just a strong man, he is also very smart and never gives away silly penalties and we'll have to show him a lot of respect.”
