Finn Russell leads charge as Racing 92 dismantle Sale

Racing 92 secured passage to the Champions Cup semi-finals after a 41-22 home win over the Sale Sharks.
Sale missed an early penalty, with Racing slotting two kicks at goal to lead 6-0. Sale got on the board with a penalty after 23 minutes, with Racing missing a long range shot at goal around the half hour mark.
Sale then ran in the only try of the first half with the final play to take a 10-6 advantage into the break.
The lead did not last long as a Racing try only a minute into the second half saw them reclaim it 13-10.
Racing followed that up with a penalty before crossing for another try to open up a 23-10 lead with around half an hour remaining.
Sale needed a response and hit back with a try five minutes later to get back into the match, trailing by six points.
Racing regained control after kicking a further two penalties before running in try number three to all but wrap up the match at 34-17 with a little over ten minutes to play.
Sale went over for another try to give themselves a chance, but then picked up a yellow card to finish the match with 14 players.
Racing finished the game in style with try number four to set up a semi-final clash with La Rochelle.
