Finn Russell and Racing 92 to part ways

The Racing 92 flyhalf’s contract expires at the end of the 2022-2023 season.

Discussions based on a mutual desire for an extension were therefore initiated, but no financial agreement could be found. Therefore, Finn Russell will be leaving the Racing 92 set-up at the conclusion of the current season.

Racing 92 and Finn Russell are continuing the 2022.2023 season with strong sporting ambitions on the Top14 and Champions Cup grounds.

The Scottish international player, who arrived in the Hauts-de-Seine department in 2018, will have worn the Ciel et Blanc colors for 6 sporting seasons, yielding 92 caps.

Racing 92 wishes Finn and his family much success in their next challenges starting in the summer of 2023.
