Fiji trump All Blacks Sevens in Las Vegas

Fiji have won the USA Sevens, defeating New Zealand 35-19 in the Cup final to secure their second title of the HSBC Sevens World Series season after claiming a 21-0 half-time lead.



Jerry Tuwai sprinted 70 metres to open the scoring after sloppy New Zealand play at a breakdown, and he doubled the advantage when he broke through the defence to go under the posts two minutes later.

Savenaca Rawaca scored the third try less than one minute from half-time after the All Blacks Sevens' Beaudein Waaka had been sin-binned for throwing the ball away.
