Brad Harris, assistant coach
On the mindset of the team:
"We have had a pretty good look at the game today, it was a really tough battle. We knew it was going to be. There were certain parts of our game we weren't happy with so we have identified that and had some really good discussion in the group and we're looking to iron that out over the next couple of days and improve for Portugal."
On the errors:
"I think the start to our game, I think we knew Georgia were going to be physical and that we had to be quite combative in our game. We made an error off the restart, we had a line-out that didn't work at the start of the game ether and a few errors on attack. What that did was gave them quite a lot of possession and allowed them to apply a bit of pressure to us and start their game well and get a bit of scoreboard pressure. There are times we are going to be challenged at the start of games and one of the things we need to do is making sure we are executing our role of getting our skill sets right."
On the line-out:
"It is a combination of things. The first line-out was a tough call to make for Sami and he didn't quite know how to throw that one. After that I think we got a bit spooked, the pressure got to us and we were making some errors in other parts of our game and we lost a bit of composure. I think in the first half we certainly weren't where we needed to be from a calling perspective, role detail perspective and skillset perspective.
"What was really pleasing was at half-time we calmed everyone down, we showed them a few clips of where we thought we could change things up and we did that in the second half."
On Levani Botia:
"Outstanding and Bots was really good at half-time as well. I think the coaches got across the technical points we wanted to get across and then Bots his leadership at the half-time break was phenomenal. I think what was pleasing was there was a number of guys speaking about what we needed to do at half-time. He [Botia] went out there and took the game by the scruff of the neck both in attack and defence he was on another level. When the heat is on you want your senior players to not only talk about leading but step up and lead with actions and I thought he wouldn't have played many better games in his career I don't think."
On injuries:
"There are a few bumps and bruises. I tell you what I don't think you get much more of physical game than that on the weekend. Full credit to Georgia, my goodness they were tough and physical. We took a lot of bumps and bruises during that game. We are still in the 72 hour window post-game so we have got guys we need to look after, rest up and we have an eight-day turnaround before Portugal."
On Eddie Jones' cava comments:
"We will take Eddie's credit card after we beat Portugal. Pass that back to Eddie, we'll take his credit card to buy some cava for our team function."
On Portugal:
"We have another tough battle. I thought Wales had to fight really hard to get a win against Portugal, they scored their fourth try in the last play of the game and Portugal had a tonne of momentum in that game. It was pretty similar to Australia, they managed to get their points when Portugal had a player in the sin bin. But for large parts of the game the Portuguese set piece was functioning well and they certainly moved the ball around in attack and really caused some problems."
