Fiji announces strong Sevens team for Paris 2024 Olympic Games

Fiji Rugby announced their selection of a strong squad for Team Fiji’s campaign at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The squad, under the guidance of Head Coach Osea Kolinisau, is set to aim for Olympic glory later this month.

Head coach Osea Kolinisau has finalized the 15-member squad.

Kolinisau commented, “The Olympic Games are a unique event, and our biggest challenge will be adjusting to the rhythm and flow that comes with the international stage, given our limited time together. However, I am confident in the talent and experience of our players.”

The men’s team is laden with experience, with 2016 and 2020 Olympic Games gold medalist Jerry Tuwai leading the charge.

Fiji Rugby is confident that this team, with its blend of seasoned veterans and dynamic young talent, will rise to the occasion and make the nation proud in Paris.
