Faiva & Baravalle sign new Benetton deals

Benetton Rugby Treviso has announced contract extensions of two hookers: Hame Faiva and Tomas Baravalle until June 30, 2022 with an option for a further season.

Born in Auckland (New Zealand) May 9, 1994, Faiva is also in possession of Tongan nationality and arrived at Treviso in November of 2017.
He started every game for Waikato in their 2016 campaign and was selected in the Blues 2017 Super Rugby squad, before being named in the Provincial Barbarians side to face the British & Irish Lions in their tour opener in Whangarei on June 3.

In May 2017, Faiva was withdrawn for the Provincial Barbarians squad in order to fulfill his Super Rugby commitments.
November 2017 saw him sign for Benetton Treviso and has so far made 47 appearances and collected 70 points.
The second hooker to have extended his contract, Tomas Baravalle, arrived in Treviso in the autumn of 2017 coming from the Jockey Club of Rosario.
His international career has seen him play in the 2010 World Junior Championship and also has a cap with the Pumas.
To date, Baravalle started on 36 occasions for Treviso and has made 25 points.
