Extended Highlights: Argentina v New Zealand

New Zealand opened their Rugby Championship campaign with a hard fought 20-16 away win over Argentina. Argentina started strongly, slotting two early penalties to take a 6-0 lead. New Zealand hit back with the games first try to edge ahead 7-6, but a third Argentina penalty saw the hosts back in front. It was all New Zealand for the rest of the half, as they kicked two penalties before an intercept try just before halftime saw them take a 20-9 advantage into the break. Argentina got off to the perfect start in the second half, with an early try closing the gap to just four points. The hosts had a chance to reduce the deficit to just a single point shortly after, but the penalty attempt went wide. Argentina were well on top and dominated possession and territory for much of the second half, but were kept out by some brilliant All Black defence. Argentina had a chance to snatch it at the death, but a historic first ever victory over the All Blacks was not to be as the visitors held on for a four point win
