Euan Murray’s international retirement gives Vern Cotter a headache

Euan Murray, Scotland’s most-capped prop, is to retire from international
rugby union just four months before the World Cup.
Murray, 34, has long been regarded as one of Scotland’s top-class players and
is well-known for his decision not to play on Sundays for religious reasons.
His wife is now expecting their third child and the Glasgow Warriors player
says he has decided to step aside and allow Vern Cotter, the Scotland head
coach, to make plans for his replacement.
