England vs Uruguay - 3 Players That Impressed

Despite not playing the full 80, Anthony Watson was very impressive while he was on the pitch. The winger caused problems for Uruguay's defense with his quick turn of pace and ability to change angle of attack with such ease. Watson opened England's scoring showing his superb speed as he beat Uruguay's defense to chase Nowell's kick.

Easter showed that age is just a number as he lead from the front for England making some very powerful carries on the ball. The no. 8 scored a hat-trick, showing his ability to control the maul off of the line outs. Easter's performance earned him the title of Man of the Match.

Jack Nowell

Nowell earned his RWC debut today and proved that Lancaster was right to select the winger. Nowell assisted for Watson's try with a perfectly weighted kick in behind Uruguay's defense, before going on to then score a hat-trick of tries. Without a doubt, Jack Nowell will be one to watch for England.
