England players to be gagged during the Rugby World Cup

England
are to take the unprecedented move of preventing their players from writing
newspaper columns or making video diaries during the Rugby World Cup next
year, Telegraph Sport can reveal.




It is understood that the instruction has come from Stuart Lancaster, the
England head coach, as part of a move to ensure that the players are not
distracted by extra media commitments given the extra spotlight they will
face during a World Cup on home soil.




Players will be allowed to continue with columns during the QBE series in
