England could wear red in World Cup opener and use away dressing room

England could be forced to wear their alternative kit, which is likely to be
red, and use the away changing room at Twickenham for the opening match of
the World Cup, despite hosting the tournament.

A random draw before the tournament - understood to be a flip of a coin - will
determine which team in each match have the right to choose their preferred
kit and dressing room, a procedure that has been used at previous World
Cups.

With Fiji’s home shirt also white, England will have to wear their new change
kit if they are drawn as Team B.
