Drew Mitchell rails at reluctance over Steffon Armitage


Drew Mitchell, the Toulon and Australia wing, said yesterday that it would be
“naive” and a “cop-out” if England did not pick Steffon Armitage for their
World Cup squad by using the “excuse” that he would disrupt the tight
culture of the team.



Mitchell is likely to line up with Armitage for Toulon in the European
Champions Cup final at Twickenham on Saturday and was generous in his praise
of his team-mate yesterday.
