Dragons sign up James Sheekey

Dragons sign up James Sheekey from Cardiff RFC until the end of the season.

The versatile player, who can play in the second row and the back row, progressed through the Cardiff Blues age grade system at U16s and U18s level.

"James Sheekey is a very tough, abrasive and hardworking back row that also can play lock," commented Dragons Head Coach, Bernard Jackman.

“He is someone that I believe will thrive in our environment and as coaches we are all looking forward to helping him develop.”

The 23-year-old has gone on to represent Wales at U20s level and he made his senior debut for the Region in 2015 in the Anglo-Welsh Cup. He has already linked up with the Welsh Region at their Ystrad Mynach training base, as they prepare for their European Rugby Challenge Cup clash against Newcastle Falcons.
