Dragons set to sign Wales international Josh Adams

Dragons are expected to boost their ranks with the signing of Wales international Josh Adams from Premiership side Worcester Warriors, according to WalesOnline.

The 22-year-old winger made his senior debut against Scotland in Round 1 of the 2018 Six Nations and also started the following game at Twickenham in Round 2.

The Worcester flyer has been in scintillating form this season with 10 tries in 15 league appearances, however it is likely that the Sixways-outfit would command a release fee from his current contract.

The former Scarlet Academy player's current deal runs until the end of next season but the Welsh region are trying hard to force through a deal that would see Adams line out at Rodney Parade next season.

A WRU rule changes means no player with fewer than 60 caps will be selected if they play for a club based outside the country, if Adams wants to continue his international career his next contract must be with a Welsh region.
