Doncaster Knights have announced their latest signings of the summer ahead of the 2018-19 season as Willie Ryan & Elliott Creed have signed a one year-deal.
Ryan joins having helped Ealing to a second-place finish in the Championship last season and will now add to the Knights' similar-position hopes.
21-year-old Creed arrives at Castle Park from Premiership Rugby side Gloucester, where the youngster made nine first-team appearances.
On Ryan's signing, Knights boss Clive Griffiths said: “There is a wealth of talent down at Ealing nowadays with numerous back rows, so we went in with a mass and grab.”
“He has the ability to play eight and six, and is a real tough player, who will make the opposition defences take note of him and attackers be wary of him.”
Griffiths was also delighted with Creed's signing, saying:
“He’s a very good footballer, has the ability to play 10 or 12, and has also featured on the wings, so he’s a real good value for us," he said.
“Having lost Andy Bulumakau, it was important that we brought somebody in very keen to do well and Elliot has featured for Gloucester first team on a number of occasions, so he’s well-suited to us.”
