Dominant Stade Toulousain near 60 to send strong message

Stade Toulousain sealed another quarter-final thanks to an impressively dominant performance versus Bristol Bears in what was the pair’s first meeting.

It was a similarly fast start for Stade Toulousain in the second half as Matthieu Lebel danced his way to a score.

It was then Teddy Thomas’ turn to grab a brace and he did he so just four minutes.

Bears did grab three second-half scores for their own through Kalaveti Ravouvou, James Williams and Noah Heward, but it was little to combat the Toulouse onslaught.

A dominant evening from the six-time champions then as they progress to the final eight.

They’ll have to wait to find out their fate as Union Bordeaux Bègles or Leicester are up next weekend.

FT: Stade Toulousain 59-26 Bristol Bears
