Conrad Smith backs Milner-Skudder to impress
All Blacks veteran Conrad Smith has backed his Hurricanes team-mate Nehe Milner-Skudder to make an impression for New Zealand if he wins his first cap this weekend.
Milner-Skudder is in contention to start against Australia in Sydney in the Rugby Championship decider.
The exciting young back had an amazing first season in Super Rugby and will give the Wallabies plenty to worry about should he make his debut.
"He is a little bit different and that's what the coaches within this environment have seen and that's why they're keen to give him a shot," Smith told Stuff.
"He's impressed me within the Hurricanes with the way he plays and he's got a smart head on him.
