Colin Slade injury scare
Colin Slade gave the All Blacks a scare after he slipped in training on Monday.
The versatile back was named by Steve Hansen in New Zealand’s final group of 31 earlier this week.
The news for the Crusaders back was positive although given New Zealand’s record with fly-halves during Rugby World Cups, any scare is going to be taken seriously.
In 2011 the All Blacks lost Dan Carter, Aaron Cruden and Beauden Barrett all to injury.
"He slipped over during training and landed awkwardly on his knee and gave it a bit of a tweak,” assistant coach Ian Foster told Fairfax Media.
"He was walking around the shed afterwards. He's fine."
