Christian wade set for NFL switch

Christian Wade's ambitions of playing in the NFL have been well-documented throughout the Wasps flyer career and according to multiple reports, Wade is set to leave Wasps to chase his dream of playing in the NFL.
The 27-year-old winger has 82 Premiership tries to his name, placing him third on the all-time list, but is reportedly the latest rugby union player to attempt to make the transition to NFL.
Wade’s move, however, is the highest profile player to attempt to make the transition. Despite Wade's exceptional try-scoring record he has just one England cap to his name and went on to join the British & Irish Lions tour of Australia and has recently been linked with a lucrative move to France.
His ability and speed appear to be well suited to American football if the deal materialises it will leave Wasps without one of the Premiership's most potent finishers.
A number of reports have suggested that he has already left the club but Wasps and Wade are yet to comment on the rumours.
Amazing developments at Wasps. Christian Wade leaves the club to pursue a career in the NFL.

Meanwhile, Wasps complete the signing of Malakai Fekitoa, the former All Black centre who will join the club next season.
Christian Wade has played his last game of rugby union. Will be in the USA by this weekend as he tries to crack the NFL. Sensational tale. Will be sorely missed.
