Christian Leali'ifano's form rewarded with Wallaby World Cup Camp call up

Brumbies flyhalf Christian Leali'ifano's Super Rugby form has put him back in the mix for the Wallabies after being invited to the World Cup camp in Brisbane this weekend.

Former Leicester Tigers playmaker Matt Toomua has also been included in the camp having just returned to Australia from England and is set to make his Rebels debut on Friday.

Lealiifano has played 14 Tests for the Wallabies but hasn’t featured for the test side the bench in the 2016 series against England.

Shortly after that series he was diagnosed with leukaemia and spent the next year undergoing treatment, including a bone marrow transplant.

The squad will be reasonably similar to the one who attended the last two camps with James Slipper and Luke Jones the new additions to the squad that went to Europe in November last year.

Leali'ifano has featured in all the Brumbies games so far this season scoring 68 points in 12 games and has assisted 5 tries and has scored one of his own.
