Chris Ashton and David Strettle back in the frame as England name 50-man squad

Chris Ashton and David Strettle, the Saracens wings, have been brought back in
from the international wilderness after being named in England’s 50-man
World Cup training squad.



Ashton has been recalled by Stuart Lancaster for the first time in a year, as
reported in The Times this morning, and he will be joined in the
England camp by Strettle, who played his last international on the 2013
summer tour of New Zealand.
