Chiefs down Cheetahs

The Chiefs took the five points on offer with a bonus point 37-27 win over the Toyota Cheetahs in Hamilton on Saturday.


A yellow card to Cheetahs talisman Heinrich Brussow in the 65th minute, when the Chiefs were narrowly 23-20 ahead, ended the contest as the home side scored twice in the time he was off the field, taking the game away from the visitors.


Brussow did score two tries – including the one in the last minute, but it wasn’t enough to keep his side in the game.
