Just four home sides picked up wins in the opening round of the Champions Cup. There were 498 points scored in the opening round that dished up many talking points.
Scarlets had to forfeit their game against Bristol Bears, giving the Premiership side a 28-0 win.
Munster and Cardiff were both hit with the same COVID issues and managed to field a side.
Wasps were forced into 13 changes on the day of their game against Munster following a round of testing, this brought the total number of unavailable players for that one game to 59.

There were a few hard decisions to be made in the Team of the Week with JJ vd Mescht, Tom Curry, Dan Fish, Rohan janse van Rensburg, Daniel Okeke among others all narrowly missing out on the Round 1 Match Day 15.
