Challenge Cup Highlights: Bath Rugby v Brive
Bath march on to the semi-finals after an impressive win here today against a strong Brive side. They absolutely blitzed the french side in the first half, going in three tries to none up after Faletau, Homer and Rokoduguni went over after some clever backline play.
Brive hit back in the second half and dragged themselves back into contention, narrowing the deficit to just seven points after two tries from Fabien Sanconnie. Bath however managed to go over for two more five pointers in the second forty to seal the win as both Taulupe Faletau and Semesa Rokoduguni bagged a brace each.
Bath will be delighted with what was arguably their best team performance of the season so far. Brive will be disappointed to come away with the defeat after they impressed in the group stage of the tournament.
