Harlequins’ coaching team has named the side to travel to London Irish in the Gallagher Premiership this weekend as stalwarts Danny Care and Mike Brown hit career milestones
Care is set to become just the third player in history to play 300 games in the Famous Quarters this weekend while Brown will become the first player to reach 350 appearances for the Club, both named to start in an unchanged team to travel to local rivals London Irish this Saturday.
Care will join Brown and Former Quins Club Captain Chris Robshaw as just the third player to play 300 games for Harlequins as he takes to the field against Irish at the Brentford Community Stadium, live on BT Sport and Channel 5.
1887 - @Harlequins' matchday squad for this weekend has a combined 1,887 appearances for the club (all competitions); @dannycare will be making his 300th appearance & @mikebrown_15 his 350th (@ChrisRobshaw is the only other player to reach 300 for the club). Stalwarts. pic.twitter.com/X7bWGux3tG

Club Captain Stephan Lewies returns to fitness for the first time since March, taking a spot on the bench as number eight Alex Dombrandt retains the captain’s armband in the starting line-up.
Will Edwards will look to make his Premiership debut, with the former England Sevens player named amongst the Club’s Impact Players having made his Harlequins debut in the Heineken Champions Cup against Munster last December.
Commenting, Attack and Backs Coach Nick Evans said: “We’ve had a good week’s prep off the back of our Worcester game. The sun’s out and the boys are in great shape to go out for what we’re expecting to be a physical match.
“London Irish are a dangerous, well-drilled team, but we’re focusing on our strengths and what we need to get right in our plans this week.
“We know from our draw against them at The Stoop earlier this season that they have plenty of Test experience to draw on when the game gets tight, so we’ll be looking to go out there and make sure we impose our game plan on them.”
