Bulls sign Springbok hooker, Akker vd Merwe

Springbok hooker, Akker van der Merwe has agreed to a three-year contract with the Vodacom Bulls which will see him run out at Loftus until June of 2026.
van der Merwe arrives at Loftus from Premiership side, the Sale Sharks whom he has run out for on 70 occasions, scoring 31 tries during his four years at the Greater Manchester club. The 32-year-old is no stranger to South African rugby, having applied his trade for the Leopards, Lions and Sharks in more than 128 matches in various competitions.
BBCo. Chief Executive Officer, Edgar Rathbone welcomed van der Merwe to the capital, earmarking his experience as a great addition to the roster.
