Jones remains one of the very best second rows in the world despite being 33 and has amassed 134 international caps in a glittering career littered with trophies and accolades.
Jones led Wales to a Six Nations Gram Slam this year and was named player of the competition having won two other Grand Slams with Wales.
He has been on three Lions tours and is one of just seven players to have beaten South Africa, Australia and New Zealand as a Lion.
Jones is a one-club man so far, however, offers have come in for the second rower from English Premiership and French Top 14 clubs.
Leicester Tigers and Bath have reportedly shown interest in the second rower, however, a move to Bristol could be favourable for Jones considering the distance between Swansea and Bristol.
