Bordeaux-Begles vs Saracens: A look at the numbers

Saracens were soundly beaten by Bordeaux-Begles in tonights Champions cup round of 16 and were sent crashing out of the tournament suffering a 45-12 drubbing in France. The win see's Bordeaux head into the quarter-final of this seasons Champions Cup.
We take a quick look at some of the numbers behind this high scoring game.
French talisman Damien Penaud was head and shoulders above the rest today in metres made (63) and defenders beaten (10), closely followed by teammate and fullback Romain Buros with 60 metres gained and 6 defenders beaten.
Penaud also had the most on the ball action, succesfully completing 12 carries, again edging out teammate Buros who ended on 11 tied also with fellow teammate and inside centre Yoram Moefana.
Saracens fly-half Alex Goode stood out for the London side, leading the numbers in in offloads (3) on better than Bordeaux's Ben Tameifuna and Nicolas Depoortere with 2 each.
Not to be outdone by, Maro Itoje, Ben Earl and Theo McFarland were a resolute on defense, each completing 12 tackles, while Nick Tompkins' 2 turnovers were enough to see him make the most of any player on the day.
