Blues lose Hayden Triggs for one week

Blues' lock Hayden Triggs has been suspended for a week after he was cited for striking a Stormers' player in the 24th minute of the match.

Although Triggs was already red carded for the incident, he will miss the Blues match against Cheetahs on Friday night (Saturday morning EST time).



The incident was considered a low-range entry point which stipulates a two week suspension, but Triggs's "excellent disciplinary record in over 10 years of playing professional rugby" helped in reducing his suspension to just one week.
