Backrower Ben Hyne has signed a new one-year deal with the Brumbies keeping him at the Super Rugby franchise until at least the culmination of the 2018 season.
Queensland-born Hyne originally drove the fifteen-hours from his home in Rockhampton to Canberra for a pre-season opportunity with the Brumbies in 2016 and was rewarded with a Super Rugby debut that turned into a full-time contract with the club.
Hyne became Brumby number 185 when he ran on against the Reds in Canberra in 2016 and he has since gone on to make five appearances for the ACT side having proven his worth.
