Bath Target Former All Black as Priestland Replacement
- 1499
Bath have shifted their focus from Springbok flyhalf Handre Pollard to former All Black Aaron Cruden, according to the Rugby Paper.
The Premiership club are in the market for a new no.10 with Rhys Priestland leaving the club at the end of the season.
The Rugby Paper states that Bath's number one target is Handre Pollard but recent reports suggest that the Bulls have received some added financial backing that could keep the 24-year-old in Pretoria.
Despite those reports, Bath have not yet given up on the 24-year-old.
If Bath were to sign the 50-cap All Black they are likely to have to pay compensation with the playmaker still under contract with Montpellier.
