Bath and Saints vie for a spot in the last four - Champions Cup

It is quarter-final weekend in both the Investec Champions Cup and the EPCR Challenge Cup and four sides are still flying the flag for Gallagher PREM Rugby.

The business end of Europe’s two premier competitions are upon us and success in either tournament has the potential to make or break a team’s season.

With the Gallagher PREM returning next weekend with an intense race for the Play-Offs, a big win in Europe for one of the remaining English sides could give their domestic ambitions a vital momentum boost.

Kicking off the weekend in the Champions Cup is a mouth-watering clash at The Rec as the reigning Gallagher PREM champions Bath Rugby host league leaders Northampton Saints.

Not only will a win secure the victors a spot in the semi-finals, it will also land either Bath or Saints a huge psychological victory over the other, which could prove crucial later down the line.

Last season’s Challenge Cup winners Bath are gearing up for their second all-English affair in as many weeks after seeing off Saracens 31-22 on home turf last time out.
