Bastareaud left out of France's World Cup squad with three uncapped players included

France head coach Jacques Brunel has unveiled the list of the 37 players that will prepare for the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan.

31 players have been listed as "starters" for Japan and 6 players have been listed as "reserves" during the preparation.

Centre Mathieu Bastareaud has been left out of the squad despite being vice-captain during the Six Nations and he is replaced by inform centre Sofiane Guitoune.






Uncapped players Alivereti Raka, Peato Mauvaka and Emerick Setiano are included, as too is François Cros, who among the reserves.

Morgan Parra has also missed out due to injury, while Alivereti Raka has been preferred over Teddy Thomas.
