B&I Lions | 7 Players to watch v First Nations & Pasifika
Owen Farrell will captain a much changed side named by Andy Farrell. The Lions side consists of all the players called up late as injury cover as well as first choice player protection ahead of the second test. Here are seven players to watch
- Kinghorn and Ringrose:

Blair Kinghorn and Garry Ringrose are the only players of the 23 named for the First Nations & Pasifika clash that could have an outside chance of starting the second test. A solid performance from both of these players will casue some selection problems for Andy Farrell and the selecters. - The Loose Trio:

It is hard to add more to the form of these three players with each having a solid argument to get test minutes in the first test, possibly a start but another good showing, which is very likely, and the coaches possibly looking ahead at a 6/2 bench to maintain intensity and negate a drop off each one of these players can be named for the second test. - Marcus Smith:

His role in this match is one to keep an eye on with his inclusion in the game seeing him change a few things tactically. He could move in to 15 moving Owen Farrell to 10 or a straight swop early for Blair Kinghorn. He could move into 10 with Owen Farrell staying at 12 and we see that partnership reunite. - Jamie George:

With many expecting a backlash from the Wallabies as they try to keep the series alive, George has an outside chance of playing the second test due to his solid set piece play and often errorless ending to tests.
