Australian prop Kieran Longbottom eyes England call-up

England
could scrum down against the Wallabies at next year's Rugby World Cup with
an Australian in their ranks after Saracens tighthead Kieran Longbottom
announced his intention to pledge allegiance to the Red Rose.




Longbottom was born and raised in Perth but qualifies for England through his
late maternal grandmother.

He has also never represented Australia, although
that remained an ambition until it was pointed out by Saracens, who signed
the 28 year-old from Western Force, that he is eligible for a call-up by
Stuart Lancaster.
