Argentinian winger Mateo Carreras will join Aviron Bayonnais next summer for three years.

It's a new era for Argentinian Mateo Carreras who is set to join Aviron Bayonnais . Carreras (1m73, 84 kg), a winger with 20 caps, has signed with the Ciel et Blanc for the next three years from the end of the season.

The winger currently plays for Newcastle Falcons in the Premiership having joined in 2020. He participated in the last World Cup with the Pumas, and scored three tries in six starts.

Carreras will replace Rémy Baget, who will join Castres - also for three years - after six seasons in Bayonne.
