Argentina nominated for Laureus World Sports award

The Laureus World Sports Awards is an annual ceremony celebrating top individual and team efforts and achievement within the sporting realm.

A total of six categories are shortlisted, namely:

• Sportswoman
• Sportsman
• Team
• Breakthrough
• Comeback
• Action

In an exciting development, one of rugby’s newest giants, the Argentinian Pumas, have been nominated in the Best Team category.

Los pumas made history last year with their maiden victory over the mighty All Blacks.

Their journey in rugby is a young one, but one characterised by passion, progress and hard work. It is the first time they have been nominated for the award.
