Amazon Prime express real interest in Premiership broadcasting rights
After the success Amazon Prime has enjoyed with the broadcasting of the Autumn Nations Cup, the company has expressed interest in doing the same with the Gallagher Premiership, according to a report in the dailymail.co.uk.
The tender process is currently underway and Amazon is reportedly a frontrunner, hoping to secure a huge deal of a full or partial rights package.
Mick Crossan, owner of London Irish, said the following:
‘There’s been two or three hats thrown into the ring and Amazon has been one of them.

'The product of Premiership Rugby is the best league in the world. It’s what people want to see, because any club can beat any club.’
