Adams ready to embrace 13 role, if need be

Wales’ live-wire backline ace Josh Adams does not seem fazed about who his opposite number will be on Saturday when the men in red take on Ireland in Dublin.
There is currently much speculation that Adams will be deployed in the outside centre berth instead of his usual position on the wing. Adams was ready to make the switch last year, ahead of the Autumn Nations Series match-up with Fiji, but injury halted the observance of the experiment.
When quizzed about the probability of the switch, Adams said:
"If that’s where the coaches think I am best fitted for the team, that will be an exciting challenge for myself.
"I had a little cameo there against Toulouse a few weeks back with Cardiff.
"I enjoyed it. It was a different experience, maybe a bit more touches of the ball, a bit more of a voice communicating-wise.
"Wherever I am needed I will be more than happy. As long as I get to wear that red shirt, I am happy to play anywhere."
Should he be entrusted with the role on Saturday, Adams will square-off against either Bundee Aki, Garry Ringrose or Robbie Henshaw – an intimidating trio – but Adams has no preference.
"Don’t mind. Any of them. It would not faze me, not at all," he said.
"I don’t know Garry Ringrose personally. He is a fantastic player.
"I was on the tour with Bundee and Robbie and they are two terrific boys. Funnily enough I got on quite well with Bundee as well. They are great guys and great players as well."
