Aaron Mauger Confident Ahead Of New Season

Aaron Mauger still believes that Leicester
Tigers can compete with the best clubs in England and on the continent
ahead of taking up his new role with the club.
Manger spent three years at Welford Road as a player from 2007 to 2010 after a successful career with the Crusaders and All Blacks.
Now he is on his way back to England charged with working with director of rugby Richard Cockerill as Leicester look to bounce back from two trophyless seasons.
"I believe we can be one of the leading clubs in the Premiership, if not Europe," Mauger was quoted as saying to the Leicester Mercury.
"We are here to be a successful team this year. There are some very good players here and some damn good people, too.”
"There are things that we want to put in place that are more mid-to-long term in order to make sure that the club is successful over the next two or three years, and ensure we can make that sustainable.”
