Aaron Cruden's surgery was 'successful', Chiefs say

Aaron Cruden's expected to make a full recovery from his knee injury, the Chiefs have revealed.

The All Black first five underwent knee reconstruction surgery today.

The Chiefs posted on Facebook that the surgery was successful and Cruden is expected to make a full recovery.

Cruden is scheduled to commence his rehabilitation with the Chiefs in two weeks.

Cruden injured his knee in the Chiefs win over the Crusaders last month and is expected to be out of rugby for up to six months, meaning he's set to miss this year's World Cup.
