6 Nations Top Performers Round 1

This weekend saw get their Grand Slam defence underway with a record win over France in Marseilles. This was followed by a brilliant first half performance by Italy in their loss to England and Scotland breaking a 22 year loss record in Wales beating Wales by a point despite an incredible come back by the home side. Finn Russel was in incredible form this weekend, at times he was unplayable in the first half against Wales and was a vital cog in Scotland holding on and winning for the first time in 22 years away in Wales

Ireland, Italy and Scotland scored a number of good tries this weekend but this weeks Try of the Week goes to Tommaso Allan and Italy for an incredible effort against England
