5 players with Fijian roots will feature in NPC semi finals

The proud rugby island nation of Fiji will be represented in this weekends fixtures in the NPC semi-final. Five players with links to Fiji will be featuring in for three of the four teams taking part.
Emoni Narawa who plays for the Chiefs and has a single test as an All Blacks winger, will start at centre for Bay of Plenty when they take on Canterbury in the first semi final.
Canterbury will have the service of Crusaders outside back Chay Fihaki who will be starting on the wing while Jone Rova will be on the bench for them.
Newton Tudreu and Waisake Salabiau will be on the bench for Waikato when they take on Wellington in the second semi final.
Bay of Plenty will take on Canterbury at 3.10pm in Tauranga and Wellington will host Waikato at 6.10pm at the Wellington Regional Stadium.
Both games will be played on Saturday.
