5 players that impressed today
1. Juan Imhoff
The Racing 92 winger was in fine form today scoring 2 tries. He showed great tenacity to score his first try and his second try confirmed why he is one of the best finishers in World Rugby. A stellar performance again from one of Argentina's key men.
2. Greig Laidlaw
The Scotland captain was a key player in his team's agonising defeat to the Wallabies earlier today. The Edinburgh scrum half kicked 19 points for his side and lead by example with his decision making. In his post match interview you could tell how devastated he was losing that game.
3. Luke Fitzgerald
A poor day for his country but the one bright spark for the Irish was Fitzgerald. The winger made such an impact off the bench after Tommy Bowe went off injured, scoring 1 and setting up another to get Ireland back into the game. Unlucky not to start.
4. Nicholas Sanchez
A man of the match performance again from the out half. His kicking accuracy was superb and kicked 9/10 kicks today, some at very important stages in the match to keep the Irish at bay. Dictated the Argentinian back line superbly on a memorable day for los Pumas.
5. Drew Mitchell
Mitchell is now only one try away from becoming joint top World Cup try scorer, adding 2 today. How happy must Wallabies fans be that they brought this guy back into the national setup. A valuable finisher that any team in World Rugby would want in their starting 15.
