5 of the best performances in round 3 of the Six Nations

Sergio Parisse

What a performance from the Italian captain. He made 68 metres for his side against Scotland and was instrumental to Italy claiming only their second ever away win in the Six Nations. He was also superb at the breakdown winning turnovers for his side while also stealing a lineouts.

Jonathan Sexton

He may have only played 54 minutes against England but put in another impressive performance. He kicked 5 out of 6 for Ireland with his conversion for Henshaws try the most impressive. His kicking from hand was also excellent with Ireland winning the aerial battle against England. With Sexton in such fine form, Joe Schmidt will be hoping that he will be fit to face Wales in two weeks time.

Dan Lydiate

The Wales pack were extremely impressive against France with Lydiate one of the stand-out players. He made 12 tackles against the French and set up the try for Biggar with a perfectly timed pass. He will now look to replicate his fine performance against the French when Ireland travel to the Millennium Stadium in round 4.

George North

Playing in his 50th game for Wales, the Northampton Saints winger was impressive once again. He caused the French defence problems all game with some strong running making 71 metres. Would of liked to get on the scoresheet but will be happy with his overall performance.

Robbie Henshaw

Henshaw really stepped up to the plate with a man of the match performance against England. He made 22 metres for his side while also getting the only try of the game which was his first for Ireland. He also excellent in defence making 14 tackles. He will now look to produce another quality performance against Wales with Ireland looking to secure only their third ever Grand Slam.
