Wits have won two of their five matches to lie in 6th position in the table and are coming off an impressive 22-13 away win over defending champions NWU Pukke. NMMU has recorded just a single victory from their five games to languish in 8th position in the standings. They will be desperate for a win after going down 36-28 away to UJ in the previous round.
